In NFL 2013 preseason live stream and TV action, the Oakland Raiders vs. New Orleans Saints live online and televised game will be one of several on Friday's schedule. Both teams are undefeated in the preseason and looking towards more wins for the regular season after disappointing 2012-13 campaigns. Tonight's Raiders vs. Saints NFL live stream and TV game will be available in select markets of the country thanks to the NFL and various affiliate stations.
The Silver & Black Pride website reported on Aug. 16 that several players will be missing from the Raiders' lineup in this game. That includes Jared Veldheer who suffered a partially torn tricep muscle this past week. His replacement will be Alex Barron, who has been out of the league for the past two seasons, but looking to make a comeback. Also out of the lineup will be Mike Brisiel. The Raiders have signed on Andre Gurode, a five-time Pro Bowler, to take Brisiel's spot over.
Tonight, Oakland faces a New Orleans Saints team with a suspect defense. Last week, the Kansas City Chiefs managed to get up the field several times with relative ease, showing just how spotty the Saints are on D. The Raiders will use tonight's game as a measuring stick of how their offense is performing as well. Star running back Darren McFadden might not be on the field quite as much tonight as he was in previous preseason games.
Among the young stars to check out for the Saints tonight will be Texas wide receiver Kenny Stills who is competing for a third spot on the roster. While Drew Brees will probably not stay on the field for more than a half of this game, he's expected to be throwing to Stills early on as they test him out. If the Saints see improvement, Stills may secure his position on the roster.
Tonight's Raiders vs. Saints game kicks off at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Louisiana. Televised coverage takes place on various TV stations affiliated with the two teams including Bay Area station KTVU/KICU and Los Angeles' KTLA. A replay will also be shown on the NFL Network after the game has officially ended. As for the live streaming coverage, fans can head over to the NFL Preseason Live subscription service to sign up for a package that lets them see all of the remaining preseason games, as well as some games from the NFL regular season.
