“Our event features a Tex-Mex meal accompanied by salads, dessert and coffee from Bytown Catering,” said Don Costello of Pine View, a 36-hole facility located at 1471 Blair Rd. “The musical group Random Play will provide the entertainment for men and women players to enjoy in a fun-filled social setting after their rounds.
“The nine and dines have joined our leagues to create a member-like course where the golfers don’t have to be members.”
The offer blends nine or 18 holes of golf on either of Pine View’s two 18-hole tracks with the meal and the tunes for a total cost of $34.95. However, if patrons are into just checking out the morsels and songs, the tally comes in at $19.95.
Costello says tee-times are to be booked for play starting at 3 p.m. and after on both 18-hole tracks and reservations are encouraged in order to prepare the proper amount of food for the expected crowd.
Here is a quick peek at both courses:
The Championship Course is a 6,679-yard, par 71 parkland layout. The mature style course provides ample landing areas for tee shots as well as large putting surfaces that are well guarded by bunkers and have plenty of undulations.
The Executive Course plays to a par of 64 and measures 4,025 yards in length. It is unlike other executive courses in that players will use every club in their bags.
