Next Month: The joy of Chicago arts (Photos)

Kathy Brocks, an Arts and Entertainment Examiner is also the host of LUTG RADIO. Kathy has hosted the LUTG which is an acronym for Let Us Thank God radio since September 20, 2010. The goal of the show has always been to give a voice to artists and give anyone who wants an opportunity for salvation.

Kathy is also a former street evangelist. Which means she walked around the streets of Chicago telling any and everyone about her faith in Jesus Christ. Often times, Kathy ran into what some cal low-life like drug dealers, drug users, pimps, prostitutes, thieves, etc. But to Kathy, these are God's children who simply lost their way and just has not discovered the gift God put in them.

Music and the performance arts has always been a great way to speak to the broken heart. Not everyone is abusing drugs, some have lost a child or been a victim of something and are simply hurting. Many ministries will use a variety of performance formats from traditional theatre to puppet theatre to rap or mimes. When you bring joy into a broken heart it uplifts and allows peace to enter.

So, Kathy and LUTG RADIO will focus on revealing the performance hearts of the Chicagoland residents who bring joy through performance. Stay tuned to for the joy available in the Chicagoland areas.
