Every once in awhile there comes along a starlet that makes heads turn and becomes a style icon for girls and women of all ages and types. This time around it appears to be AnnaSophia Robb. You may remember her from the children's movie "Race to Witch Mountain", but she has now been cast to play Carrie Bradshaw (pre-Sex in the City days) in "The Carrie Diaries". Ever since then people have had their eyes on this child star who is now all grown up. People who grew up with Sex in the City know that this show is what turned Sarah Jessica Parker from a nobody to a style icon and many people are predicting that The Carrie Diaries will do the same for Ms. Robb. On the show she portrays the typical crazy "Carrie" outfits filled with lots of feathers, bling, colors and who knows what else. However, in reality this girl has a very collected fashion that is elegant, yet fun and age-appropriate.
AnnaSophia Robb grew up in Denver, Colorado and at the age nine was scouted and started traveling to pursue her acting. She currently lives in New York while shooting The Carrie Diaries, but claims to still miss her home.
