Next front for battle of quitting smoking is vaping

The newest front in the battle to get people to quit smoking is now electronic cigarettes or otherwise known as vaporizers. Yes, according to Fort Wane Business Weekly which was reported on July 18, vaping is the newest trend among those wanting to quit smoking cigarettes.

According to the report, retailers who are selling electronic cigarettes are rocking the vaping scene. And if you want to start vaping, you don’t have to stick to just e-cigarettes because they also have pipes, hookahs, and electronic cigars to deliver the nicotine to vapers. Also, according to Reason, most adults prefer the juvenile flavors of e-cigarettes, pipes, hookahs, and e-cigars.

Although everyone is getting in on this latest trend, is it really safer than regular cigarettes and cigars? We have to question this newest trend because apparently, these new e-cigarettes have not even been approved by the FDA yet. The FDA is taking comments on vaping until August 8 but there might still be a two year wait before vaping is approved by them.

This isn’t stopping people from vaping or even selling the vaporizers and electronic cigarettes though. Many people use vaping to help them stop smoking real cigarettes and it seems to be working for them. One man stated that he hasn’t smoked a real cigarette in 10 months and doesn’t want to anymore.

Many people also like to blow smoke rings with their e-cigs and some people say they really like the flavors of them. Although vaping is used to help people stop smoking regular cigarettes, it doesn’t stop their nicotine addiction since electronic cigarettes, cigars, and other pipes and hookahs do have nicotine in them.

Have you tried vaping yet? Do you think using e-cigarettes can help a person quit smoking? Do you like the flavor of the pipes and hookahs? Sound off with your opinions in the comment section below and let everyone know what you think about this new trend among smokers.
