Nexon made its presence known at Pax East, with two big booths, lots of giveaways, and a number of raffles. Thousands of people attended Pax East this weekend. The massive convention was held at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, about a 4 hour bus ride from NYC. It was well worth the travel time: the center was packed with hand on game previews, freebies and giveaways, interesting panels, and much more.
Nexon was definitely the most visible name this year at Pax East. Many booths were doing giveaways, but Nexon was one of the only that had people walking around and giving things to everyone in the convention. A huge bag with Vindictus on one side and Dragon Nest on the other was given out, as well as a strap for your Pax badge.
Nexon showed off some new content for Vindictus, and a preview of their new game, Dragon Nest. Anyone who tried out Vindictus and Dragon Nest got a free t-shirt from each game. The biggest draw, though, was an entry into a raffle for a Vindictus bear hat, and an Alienware computer. The lines stretched around the booths, as eager Pax attendees clambered to try the new content, enter the sweepstakes, or talk to few members of the development team who were happy to answer some questions.
