News update for the 2013-2014 U.S. Open Cup for Arena Soccer

The U.S. Open Cup for Arena Soccer continued this weekend with two games in the tournament. Brackets in the West and East are starting to take shape as they're heading into the semi-finals of the U.S. Open Cup play. In the Western brackets, The Las Vegas Legends will face the San Diego Sockers on January 11th in the Round of Sixteen after defeating the Las Vegas Knights 8-4. The winner will face the Bay Area Rosal in the quarterfinals. Austin Football Club defeated the Texas Strikers 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals to face Hildago La Fiera.

In the East, the Wichita B-52s will face the winner of the Tulsa Tea Men/Tulsa Revolution game January 12th in the Round of Sixteen. The Revolution won their delayed game against B-H United by forfeit. The Chicago Mustangs awaits the winner of their match in the quarterfinals. In the semi-finals, the Cleveland Freeze awaits the winner of the remaining bracket matches in the East for a spot in the championship game.
