This past Sunday’s WWE Night of Champions pay per view had a good turnout but was not sold out. There were three and a half sections of the upper deck taped off on the camera side. I would estimate about 12,000 people were there. Daniel Bryan was the most over star of the night, closely followed by Rob Van Dam and CM Punk. Biggest heat from inside the arena was Paul Heyman, followed by Randy Orton (who was cheered by some as well). The company will be back for a live event at the Joe Louis Arena on Saturday, December 28.
CM Punk threw out the first pitch of Sunday’s Detroit Tigers against the Kansas City Royals.
