News of Kim Kardashian pregnancy sparks sales of Kim and Ray J sex tape (Video)

In a somewhat strange turn of events, Fox News is reporting on Jan. 2 that news of Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy has sparked sales of her infamous sex tape with singer Ray J.

Vivid Entertainment, the marketers of Kim Kardashian’s sex tape, told TMZ that “Kim K. Superstar” has spiked 80 percent since Kanye West made the pronouncement about his “baby mama” on stage in Atlantic City Sunday night.

Sales of the sex tape also increased when Kim Kardashian married basketball player Kris Humphries, but the pregnancy increase is much larger. Good news also for Ray J who gets his cut out of every sex tape sold.

Kim Kardashian confirmed the happy news on her blog New Year's Eve.

"It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby," she wrote. "We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, lovingly called Kimye by fans, have been dating since the beginning of 2012, taking their relationship public in March. Kardashian is still legally married to Kris Humphries after a 72-day marriage. Hopefully, the divorce will come before the baby does.
