  • According to this past Thursday's (July 24th) edition of WALA-TV's local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10"), the "puddle ducky" animation that was part of WALA-TV's previous system of weather graphics was uploaded into their current system of weather graphics and used in some of the weather segments for their local news programming over the past two weeks, including at least one weather segment for their morning newscast yesterday (the reason for "Studio 10" having this explanation was due to one of its hosts (Joe Emer) mentioning the appearance of the animation in the aforementioned weather segment since he remembered its retirement back in June. This caused the weather reporter who presented the segment with the animation (Michael White) to explain its return and accuse the host of having just noticed its return).
