  • Various articles of writing and images related to WZEW-FM's history from the past 30 years were published by the Southern Rambler between this past Sunday, August 31st, and today in honor of the 30th anniversary of the day WZEW-FM's programming format was implemented (you may access one of the articles on the official World Wide Web site for the Southern Rambler and the others on their official Facebook page along with the images, some of which were also posted onto the official site).
  • WAVH-FM (106.5) was broadcasting unmodulated carrier waves (or no sound) at various points this past Monday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. rather than alternative programming for their local morning news and discussion program ("Mobile Mornings") since they had no new live edition of it that day due to their observance of the national holiday Labor Day. They did have alternative programming during the time periods in which the local morning news and discussion program was usually broadcast, though, such as recordings of its past segments (between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.).
