News: The Silverdome in Pontiac sits idle.
Reaction: Yeah – tell us something we didn’t know. Here’s the idea – have some wealthy lax fan bring an MLL team to the Motor City, how about the Detroit LaxWarriors. Make the Silverdome a lacrosse playground for Oakland County. Brilliant! I would like 20% of the profits, please. Just let me know when you contact Jake Steinfeld.
News: ESPN will broadcast the Michigan / Johns Hopkins game on Feb. 23.
Reaction: If ESPN 3 falls down in the forest, does it make a noise? Thanks guys – how about showing the game on ESPNU or at least the “Deuce”! Well, if you like Hopkins, you can catch their other 11 games on the ESPN family of networks. Didn’t they just launch ESPN JHU?
News: Western Michigan’s spring practices begin tonight.
Reaction: Have a Red Bull and Bronco up! I don’t know what is worse – practicing from 10-Midnight or from 5:30-7:30am.
