News about lost airplane affects WALA-TV's local entertainment/lifestyle program

WALA-TV's broadcast of a news conference about the airplane from Malaysia Airlines that had been lost since the Saturday of March 8th (the name of the airplane was MH370) during their local morning news program ("FOX 10 News in the Morning") affected the production of their local entertainment and lifestyle program ("Studio 10") this past Monday, March 24th. For example, the program did not begin with its regular opening sequence or a preview of the segments it would feature that day. It actually began with its hosts (Cherish Lombard and Joe Emer) talking about the revelations of the news conference in addition to news related to entertainment (Joe Emer admitted to "switching back and forward" from discussing news related to entertainment and news about the airplane). One of those hosts (Joe Emer) would eventually mention the revelations of the news conference again before some of the program's commercial breaks to keep the audience for the program up to date on news about the airplane (no music played before those commercial breaks) and both of them would talk about those revelations again during the last segment of the program.
