Newlyweds T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested for alleged possession of controlled substance on Wednesday, September 1, 2010.  The couple were traveling in their car on Sunset Boulevard when they were pulled over by L.A. County Sheriff's deputies around 10:30 last night.  The deputies reportedly smelled marijuana coming from the rapper's Maybach.

The deputies searched T.I.'s vehicle and discovered an undisclosed controlled substance.  TMZ reported: "Law enforcement sources tell us the controlled substance was not cocaine, but rather the class of controlled substance that triggered the arrest includes methamphetamines and ecstasy."

T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested.  They were released at 4:00 AM on $10,000 bail.  T.I. is currently on probation; he recently spent seven months in jail on weapons charges.

T.I. sometimes goes by the name T.I.P., but his real name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr.  He has been in a relationship with singer Tameka "Tiny" Cottle since 2001; the couple married on July 30, 2010.  They have two sons together; a daughter was stillborn in 2007.  T.I. has three other children from previous relationships.  Cottle also has a child from a prior relationship.

Rapper T.I. and three of his sons (Messiah Ya'Majesty, King, and Domani) attended a Boston Celtics game on April 26, 2008--it was the Boston Celtics Vs. Atlanta Hawks Playoff game.  You can see a photo of T.I. and his sons in Boston here.
