Newly-formed Edwards Artist Alliance holds 'Art for Autism' event March 23 (Photos)

The Union Artist Studios, Studio 201 and the Logan and Golob studios are all located on the second floor of the Edwards Building on the campus of the Lee County Alliance for the Arts. The three studios are joining forces to form The Edwards Artist Alliance, which will focus on producing great quality events involving music, literature and the visual arts.

The Edwards Artist Alliance will present its first event on March 23, 2013. An Evening of Art for Autism will be held on the lawns surrounding the Edwards Building and inside the artists’ second-floor studios at 10051 McGregor Blvd in Fort Myers, Florida. There will be live painting demonstrations, displays of original art, a special live art projection, live music and open studios. A silent auction of original pieces from all of the artists will be held during the event.

The Edwards Artist Alliance is donating 40% of the proceeds to local charity for Autism. There is no admission and plenty of free parking.
