It’s hard to imagine music mogul Kanye West not being somewhat overwhelmed these days given all the changes set to come into his life.
After all, it was West who unexpectedly broke the news to his supporters that he and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting a child in 2013. While performing in Atlantic City over the weekend, West informed his fans, simply referring to Kim as his “baby mama”.
West was said to be so emotional over the pregnancy that he got down on his knees and kissed Kim’s stomach after getting the word, while even reportedly shedding a few tears.
Following West’s announcement, Kim would take to her personal Celebuzz page, where she confirmed the news with this message.
“It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo”
West must seem to have luck on his side.
According to a report from TMZ.com on Thursday, Jan. 3, the 35-year old star was pulled over for speeding and having tinted windows early this morning after leaving Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.
And while West appeared to be in a hurry as he jetted down Sunset Blvd., he was let go with a simple warning.
Perhaps that’s a sign of good things to come this new year.
