Newly appointed police dog is missing

Update 6/22/14: The missing dog has been found; Falcone was reunited with his handler on Saturday morning.

On Tuesday, the City of Poughkeepsie, in N.Y., issued a release about a missing police canine who disappeared after chasing after a deer on June 16.

The 17-month-old German shepherd named "Falcone," was wearing a brown collar at the time that he disappeared on Monday evening.

Falcone was last seen in the area of Upper North Rd in Highland (Town of Lloyd).

The City of Poughkeepsie Police Department would like to ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of the missing dog to contact the Town of Lloyd Police Department as soon as possible at (845) 691-6102.
