Rasmussen Reports has released what is probably their final poll on the health care bill before Congress votes on it next Sunday. The poll has both good and bad news for Democrats favoring the bill.
On the positive side Rasmussen shows support for the health care reform bill at its highest level since mid-November. 45% now favor the bill's passage while 52% now oppose it. The Rasmussen poll is of likely voters which usually favors a Republican position. In addition the poll includes Republicans and independents who are actually against the bill. Democrats are overwhelming in favor of the bill's passage which means Democrats risk a primary challenge should they chose to vote against it.
On the negative side the Rasmussen poll shows 50% of voters would be less likely to vote for their Representative should he or she vote for the health care reform bill. Just 34% would be more likely to vote for their Representative if they voted for reform. Democrats are counting on voters changing their mind about the bill after it actually passes. The hope is that once things like "death panels" never come to pass voters will realize the bill is not the monster they have been told it is by some sources. As noted above the Rasmussen poll also shows independents opposed to the bill. Democrats are never going to win many Republicans but independents are extremely important in most American elections.

Wow! From Rasmussen no less!
How timely. In an era when the lexicon has been "transformed" to include Obamanation, DemonPass, Slaughter Rule...
You may add your own to the list.
Gee, I guess all they have to do is avoid pulling the plug on grandma until after November. ryan, your condescension towards the public is only exceded by your myopic devotion to your irrational Collectivist agenda.

USA is what you watch when there is absolutely nothing else on tv...no one will even admit to watching USA, and USA beat fox? hang your head in shame...233,000 doesn't even make a medium size city....call a group of 1000 and only 8 would have seen fox...EIGHT out one thousand...eight....there are youtube videos of someone doing a faceplant that get more hits than that....those fox "hits" don't even equal a good website.
TOO FREAKIN SAD
It wouldn't matter to this administration if 90% disapproved. They know what's best....
November will tell. Massachusetts told them, but they don't care. They don't care what the people think. They don't care about the Constitution. They only care about fundamentally transforming this country. They have the fight of their lives on their hands. Americans aren't going to put up with enemies from within destroying the country we love. They'd better hurry and get it all done before November.
This is flat out untrue! The lastest news on ABC radio are showing 35% FOR and 55% AGAINST this BIll..!!!
