Golvellius: Valley of Doom is coming to the iPhone

Golvellius: Valley of Doom was originally created to go head-to-head against The Legend of Zelda. As Kelesis, a warrior sent to find Golvellius and rescue Princess Rena, you must defeat wild beasts and creatures and eventually defeat seven of Golvellius's fiersest demons sent against you.

A hit in Japan at the time of its release, this retro RPG is being brought to the iPhone by DotEmu, who specializes in bringing classics back to life on the iPhone. "Golvellius is a wonderful addition to our license portfolio," says DotEmu CEO Xavier Liard. "We are pleased to bring Golvellius to the iPhone and iPod Touch for a great retrogaming experience."

Golvellius: Valley of Doom will be released in August.
