Santa Clara based NewCardio announced today that they have been invited to present the findings of a recent study which they have completed that can help patients who suffer from diabetes. The American Diabetes Association has invited NewCardio to present the findings of their study at the annual American Diabetes Association Annual Scientific Session. NewCardio will present using a Guided Audio Poster Tour which will clearly outline the company’s findings.
From Dr. Ihor Gussak, MD, PhD; NewCardio CMO: “We are delighted to present our study results at this important gathering of diabetes experts, and particularly pleased that the ADA program committee chose to feature our presentation in a moderated poster session. Accurate and timely AMI diagnosis is a matter of great concern for diabetologists, and we believe our results show that my3KG can play a major role in solving it. The moderated poster session provides the opportunity to present our results directly to leading diabetes experts, and have one-on-one interactions that will allow us to discuss and explain the importance of our results in detail.”
The NewCardio study revealed that the company’s new product my3KG, which is an urgent care solution, showed greater accuracy than a standard 12-lead ECG (12L ECG) in diagnosing Acute Myocardial Infarction or AMI in patients with diabetes. The 71st annual American Diabetes Association Scientific Session will take place on Jun 24-28, 2011 in San Diego, Ca.
The American Diabetes Association is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization that works hard to raise funds for research, to publish scientific findings, provide information and to provide services to those who are suffering from diabetes as well as their families, health professionals and the general public.
