Newborn colt will hopefully follow famous brother’s hoofprints (Photos)

February 2 marks the birth of a colt born into an illustrious, world famous horse family. He was foaled at Barnstead Manor Stud in Newmarket, and is the baby of Kind, his dam, and Galileo, his sire. Already he has been thrown into the limelight due to his remarkable siblings.

He is the full brother to undefeated world champion racehorse Frankel. As a matter of fact, this little hopeful stud colt has three Kind siblings in training with Sir Henry Cecil – full-brother Noble Mission, and two half-siblings Morpheus and an unnamed 2-year-old filly, both by Oasis Dream.

The little guy does not look like anyone else in the family. Very much an individual in his own right, the colt is a bright chestnut with a wide blaze on his face.

Stud manager Simon Mockridge at Banstead Manor described the colt as "attractive with size and scope."

General manager of Juddmonte Farms, Philip Mitchell, said earlier, "We are delighted with Kind's latest foal and I can confirm that she will be returning to visit Galileo in 2013."

The fans would heartily agree with these plans. Of course Kind will revisit Galileo this season.
