New Zealand's Bubble Gum takes top spot at 2012 HHI junior semi-finals

Las Vegas, NV - Current reigning world junior division champion crew Bubble Gum looks like they are destined for a back to back win at the 2012 Hip Hop International World Dance Competition - Junior Division, as they place 1st in the semi-finals moving them to the finals happening the Orleans Arena this Sunday.

Joining Bubble Gum is Flip from Canada and J.B. Star of Japan placing 2nd and 3rd respectively. Each of these young dancers have practiced day in and day out for more than 3 months to prepare for the competition.

First time participant Rascals of the United States hope that their long hours of practice will lead them to the gold medal standing. Rascals had to make their climb to the world competition as they competed for the USA spot last Monday and Tuesday which resulted in a gold medal win for the USA Junior Division Champion.

The final six crews out of twelve crews will battle for the medal spots at the Orleans Arena.

1. Bubble Gum - New Zealand Score: 7.74

2. Flip - Canada Score: 7.69

3. J.B. Star - Japan Score: 7.43

4. Rascals - USA Score: 7.36

5. Onizaka Ikka - Japan Score: 7.34

6. Freshh 2.0 - Canada Score: 7.17

Scores are based on 4 points performance and 4 point technique to equal a combined total of 8.
