To say Kevin Daum wants to make the New York Times Best Seller List with his latest book is a bit of an understatement, to say the least.
Daum is so dedicated to the goal that he has tattooed "New York Times Best Seller" backward on his chest so he can see it in the mirror every morning.
Daum wants to get on the NYT hardcover business bestsellers with his fourth book, "ROAR! Get Heard in the Sales and Marketing Jungle." It's published by Wiley and is due out in April. It's available for pre-order.
To qualify for the prestigious NYT list, Daum has to sell 8,000 to 10,000 books in one week.
According to the Amazon description, "ROAR!" focuses on helping people improve their sales even in a struggling economy.
ROAR stands for: Recognize the four types of buyers; Observe from the buyer's perspective, and adapt your message; Acknowledge the buyer's special wants and needs; and Resolve the buyer's issues.
Daum's other three books are "What the Banks Won't Tell You: How to Get the Most Out Of Your Mortgage," "Building Your Own Home for Dummies" and "Green$ense for the Home: Rating the Real Payoff from 50 Green Home Projects."
