According to Tuesday's publication of Syracuse.com, a dog had several teeth knocked out of his mouth by a Seneca Falls, N.Y., man who allegedly attacked the dog at the home of a friend.

According to the Auburn Citizen, 30-year-old Matthew R. Taylor repeatedly punched and kicked the three-year-old Labrador retriever mix named "Askhim." The assault knocked a total of six teeth out of the dog's mouth.

Police were called to the apartment by the dog's owner - Taylor had been repeatedly asked to leave, but he refused, and allegedly continued his attack on the dog. Aside from the damage to Askhim's mouth, there were no other injuries reported.

The violent encounter led to two misdemeanor charges, including second-degree criminal trespass and injuring an animal; Taylor was also aggressive at the time of his arrest, which resulted in an additional charge of misdemeanor obstruction of governmental administration.

Taylor was taken to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
