It is no secret that the New York Jets offense was a complete disaster in 2012. The Jets took several calculated risks and most of them backfired. If it could go wrong, it did go wrong, especially when it came to injuries.
2012 statistics
Total offense: 299 yards per game (ranked 30th in the NFL)
Points per game: 17.6 (ranked 28th in the NFL)
Rushing: 1,896 yards ( ranked 12th in the NFL)
Passing: 2,891 yards (ranked 30th in the NFL)
As we look to the 2013 season it is time to evaluate each position on offense to identify issues that the team will be facing and areas for improvement.
