The New York Jets announced their final roster cuts and they are as follows:

TE Kevin Brock
TE Kareem Brown
RB Jehuu Caulcrick
FB Brock Christopher
S Emanuel Cook
LB Kenwin Cummings
OL Stanley Daniels

WR Marcus Henry
RB Anthony Kimble

DE Zach Potter
TE Jack Simmons
DL Ty Steinkuhler
Based on this announcement Danny Woodhead, the feel good story of the Jets last preseason game, made the roster. While this is a popular move amongst the fans I truly do not understand the value he brings to the team. The Jets already have three very good running backs on the roster and need to add depth on the offensive and defensive lines. In terms of special teams, the Jets already have several returners on the team so Woodhead would not get many opportunities to get on the field. I just think the roster spot could be better used, and would not be surprised if he is released before the season starts.
Punter Reggie Hodges remains on the team but I really think it is only a matter of time before he is replaced.

With Woodheads speed, agility & toughness, I'm hoping they stick him in the slot 1-2 plays a game. If he's able to catch a couple screens or quick outs they might be able to use him as a Wes Welker like WR. Also keep him listed as a RB & maybe he can back-up Washington if Leon gets hurt.
