New York Fashion Week 2014: Katie Holmes wears a leather gown with sheer skirt

Katie Holmes wore a sexy dress to New York Fashion Week, according to a Feb. 11 report from Us Weekly. The actress and designer wore a sexy black gown to the Donna Karan show on Feb. 10.

Holmes made an appearance in a black gown with a leather bodice and sheer black skirt. The gown was reportedly designed by Donna Karan.

Donna Karan is a bit wild for the demure actress. The 35-year-old is rarely seen in the designer's clothing. She often opts for more conservative styles.

Homes wore a lot of conservative outfits and dresses when married to Tom Cruise. It looks like she's going for an effortless and sexier style these days.

Holmes' brunette hair was mid-length and styled with a middle part. She had it styled in loose waves. The Holmes & Yang designer kept her makeup simple with brown eye shadow and mauve-pink lip color, reported by Us Weekly.

Katie Holmes sat front row at Donna Karan's 30th anniversary show. She reportedly sat with Hugh Jackman, Trudie Styler and Rita Ora.
