One might think it was invented by a woozy frat guy peering into his fridge at 3 a.m., but no.
Inspired by the now famous burger created by ramen enthusiast and chef Keizo Shimamoto, which caused long lines at Brooklyn's Smorgasburg Flea Food Market this past summer, Tokio Pub presents its new Ramen Burger.
Making its official menu debut on Monday, December 9, 2013, Tokio Pub Executive Chef Peter Balodimas' Ramen Burger features a premium house-ground brisket and short rib Angus beef blend. The burger is held together by a fresh ramen noodle bun and topped with soy "molasses," Tamari soy, caramelized onion, garlic, green onion, Shitake mushroom, brown sugar, ginger, sesame seeds, and mizuna garnish. This mouthful is priced at $12.
The Ramen Burger will be made in limited batches daily- once they're gone, they're gone.
