For the second straight match, the New York Cosmos will face a team from MLS in the U.S. Open Cup.

The Cosmos will meet the Philadelphia Union in the round of 16 on June 24 at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.

The Cosmos advanced to the fifth round of the tournament with a 3-0 victory over the New York Red Bulls on Saturday. Mads Stokkelien scored twice and Alessandro Noselli added a goal for the shutout win.

“Unbelievable, 3-0 against the Red Bulls is unbelievable,” Noselli said. “I don’t know in the future, but today maybe we are the best team in New York.”

The Union reached the fifth round with a 3-1 win in extra time over the Harrisburg City Islanders.

This year's U.S. Open Cup winner will earn a berth into the 2015-16 CONCACAF Champions' League.

The Cosmos are the defending North American Soccer League champions, the sixth time the franchise has captured the championship.

The NASL season is currently on break for the World Cup. Minnesota United FC captured the league's spring season title.
