"Remember Lennon: Imagine 70," a tribute to John Lennon starring Peter Gendron, will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday at O'Shea Complex Auditorium, The Computer School, 100 West 77th St. (between Columbus & Amsterdam Avenues), New York City.
The concert will feature Gendron as John Lennon backed by a band with a multi-media visual presentation plus rare video footage. Opening the show is New York musician Guitar Charlie, who will be performing a set of Beatles instrumentals.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased in advance from Beth Sperber at 917-301-0161 and will also be available at the door on Sunday. There will also be a display of Beatles and Lennon shirts and memorabilia for sale. Proceeds from the concert will be used to support the music program at The Computer School.
