Get your typing fingers ready, folks! New York Comic Con organizers have announced that VIP and 4-Day Tickets for the 2013 pop culture extravaganza in New York City will go on sale today, March 14, 2013, at 12 noon EDT. This is important information for fans of NYCC as tickets for New York Comic Con in 2012 were completely sold out long before the October event took place.
Officials note that due to the high volume Ticket sales for NYCC 2013 will be rolled out in waves. VIP and 4-Day Tickets are limited so fans are encouraged to buy their Tickets early. Information about 3-Day and Single Day Ticket sales will be announced in the near future. VIP and 4-Day Tickets for NYCC are available for purchase at the NYCC website.
Convention officials also recently revealed the first "Spotlight Guests" for NYCC 2013, including Torchwood actress Eve Myles and comics celebrities Adam Hughes, David Finch and Kieron Gillen. Eve Myles will appear at the show on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while Adam Hughes, David Finch and Kieron Gillen will be at the show for all four days! More information about guest activities at the convention will be announced in the future.
New York Comic Con, which will take place October 10-13, 2013 at NYC's Javits Center, is one of New York City’s largest annual events, last year attracting over 116,000 attendees. The pop culture convention draws a wide cross section of fans eager to meet and greet the creators, actors, writers, musicians and artists. The show includes top talent from the worlds of comics, film, television, music, books and gaming.
