From its cool website alone, one can tell that Mary Queen of Scots is the place to be in the Lower East Side of New York, New York. The bar/restaurant offers traditional Scottish cuisine and its bar alone accommodates up to 50 people.

Most impressive about Mary Queen of Scots is the Scottish country home feel of its décor. The ceiling is mirrored, books lie at almost every corner, and plaid reigns supreme. Go for a “Scotchtini” or for some delicious and innovative Scottish pastries. The New York Times agrees.
