New Years Resolutions: Remaining Chaste

It's a New Year, winter is mid-way over, and the birds who once flew south not long ago have ventured back to sing lullaby's in the trees; and still yes, the committment to remain chaste for many of us, have remained faithful in our hearts.

So when does the committment of remaining chaste and/or abstinent move past a New Year's resolution to a lifestyle full of promise. The transition happens when you consciously realize your personal values, morals, and needs to remain faithful towards God in this well fought aginst lifestyle. To remain chaste/abstinent is not the "norm" lifestyle for many Americans but can become the "norm" when you are confident enough to ignore the opinions and decisions of others.

Remaining in a faithful, focused state of mind keeps you grounded about your decision and moves you from making an oath, to walking in the lifestyle of Chastity. Making a committment leads to forming a habit and after long the habit becomes a Lifestyle. Remain focused this year to receive the promise of God for a new lifestyle of committment in your decision to remain chaste.

Until next time, Blessings on your New Year.
