New Years Eve 2011 in Denver

The end of another year is upon us again and New Years Eve 2011 is already shaping up to be one of the best in Denver. There are tons of things to do in the city and Gigbot has a whole list of shows and happenings around town. For just a taste of what is going on in Denver, here is a list of some of the events.

Snake Rattle Rattle Snake will be playing at the Hi-Dive on South Broadway. Opening bands will be Kingdom of Magic and Crystal Mouse Collection. The show starts at 9:30pm, is 21+ and is $12 advance and $15 day of show. Go dance in the New Year.

Paper Bird will be playing at The Oriental Theater in The Highlands with opening bands Dovekins and Pee Pee. It is a masquerade ball, starts at 8:00pm with DJ sets, is 18+ and costs $15 advance, $20 day of show and $65 for the VIP package. Go get dressed up and wear a mask to this event.

Bender’s Tavern is having their Rockabilly New Years Party with Mad Max and the Wild Ones, The Atomic Drifters, Cora Vette and the Vinyl Tops and The Tankerays. The show starts at 8:00pm, is 21+ and is $10 advance and $15 day of show. Go down to Capital Hill for some Rockabilly that only Bender’s Tavern can provide.

Lipgloss at La Rumba will be having yet another party that’s not to miss. Located in the Golden Triangle, head down to enjoy cheap drinks and DJ sets by resident DJs and special guests. It starts at 9:00pm, is 21+ and costs $10 advance and $12 day of show. They are giving away tons of swag including signed posters from Interpol, The Bloody Beetroots and !!!. Go try to get your hands on some.
