The end of a decade is here... it is a time to welcome the new one... but just for a second, before the decade is over, stop an watch this video and remember just one more time before you sing Auld Lang Syne; give Cpl Chris (Ed) Mason just one more second… this is the story of how one of our great Warriors (out of so very many brave men and women) Chris Mason gave his life to insure our nation would still be here on this January 1, 2010.

This video was sent to my inbox as a reminder of the story of the decade...the war on terror...as our current administration refuses to call it. In honor of our warriors who serve so valiantly I invite you to remember our troops and Cpl Mason by becoming a fan at "In Loving Memory of Cpl Christopher Mason" .

Take a moment to this New Year's Eve to remember all of our fallen who died that we might live free and do so all each and every day..

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
