As television lovers wait and countdown to midnight, there will be plenty of options to choose from. 2013 has been a good year for television, especially many of the new fall shows. New Year’s Eve offers a wide variety of options when it comes to specials. According to a Dec. 31 report from Entertainment Weekly, viewers will have at least five major options. From ABC to FOX news, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Even though Dick Clark has passed, “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” will still happen. Fans can ring in the New Year with Mackelmore, Miley Cyrus, and of course, Ryan Seacrest. There is so much that could happen with live performances, fans are anxious to see what Cyrus will do with her performance, outrageous or toned down? For FOX news fans, there will be “All-American New Year.” Guests include country music star Rodney Atkins, Susan Boyle, and Blues Traveler. “Duck Dynasty” stars Willie and Korie Robertson will be special guests on the show as well. It will be the first time any of the Robertson clan has been interviewed since the Phil Robertson controversy happened two weeks ago. There are three other programs airing as well with hosts including Anderson Cooper, Kathy Griffin, Carson Daly, and Mario Lopez.

Viewers certainly have a hard decision to make regarding which New Year’s Eve special to watch. There could be some interesting events with guests tonight, especially with Miley Cyrus and her crazy antics. If you aren’t sure which to choose, browse through all the options live.
