London residents watched the skies above the city light up on Tuesday night. On New Year’s Eve, the famous European city seemed to relish the moment when 2014 was declared. With so many fireworks displayed around the country, the beauty of this show had people watching from around the world. According to the London Telegraph, thousands of people watched as the fireworks show danced in the sky.
While the lights in the sky were rewarding, perhaps some of the unique elements had the attention of the many individuals. For some 250,000 people that lined the Thames they got the opportunity to embrace peach snow, edible banana confetti and orange-scented bubbles. Another 100,000 people were given scratch and sniff programs as part of the festivities.
The display had fans coming from near and far to see the 'world's first multi-sensory fireworks display. There were clouds of apple, cherry and strawberry mist along with the edible banana confetti that rained from the sky, who wouldn’t want to see such an intriguing moment? It was like a real moment of raining food like the movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
