Enjoy New Years at Seattle’s best kept secret…

The Swedish Club!

Have a ball in the swankiest venue in town!

Admit it, you’ve stayed in before on New Years Eve and declared “That’s for amateurs” but secretly just wanted a great place to go with friends and have a great time dancing and eating and hobnobbing with friendly folks. Well, this is it! There’s something for everyone at the Three Crowns Ball!

There are four bands, three DJ’s, three bars, a Swedish smorgasbord and the Swedish Club has a great view the fireworks show at the Space Needle — you’ll love exploring the mid-century architecture.

The shindig starts at 8pm at the Swedish Club at 1920 Dexter Ave. N., high atop Queen Anne Hill. In addition to all the music, eye candy, adult beverages and glittering party favors, look out for the 40 lb confetti super-cannon at midnight!

Tickets available from Pep Productions today!

The Spyrographs in the Dance Party Room!

The Swedish Club has 3 “nightclubs” in one and we’re featuring music for every taste. Don’t miss The Spyrographs with Miss Cheryl Serio. They are a tight 5 piece band that plays the best spy, pop and surf hits of the 60s, 70s and beyond. On New Years Eve they will be playing a special tribute all- ABBA set, plus additional Scandinavian hits (and misses) as the band play homage to the wonderful history of the Swedish Club

The Gravity Kings

The Gravity Kings’ jazzy, soulful groove-based Cadillac funk is born from the eclectic tastes of its motley crew of all- star players. Started as an old school funk project in the fall of 2010, the Gravity Kings’ grooves and arrangements make dance floors bounce and derrières move with a funky cocktail of raw, high-energy grit, funk pockets, and smooth West Coast horns.

The Moonspinners in the Lounge!

The 5-piece Moonspinners play a wide variety of music with a 60′s-esque pop sensibility: rock and roll, soul, girl-group, French and Italian pop, lounge and even some garage rock and 70′s punk. The Moonspinners combine insouciance with sophistication – and people love it!

“Pancake Toast” after Midnight!

There will be a complimentary Swedish Style “Pancake toast” breakfast snack to bring in the New Year that starts at exactly 12:15am. In addition, there will be a Swedish style holiday smorgasbord available for purchase from 8- midnight, with small plate options. There are 3 floors of fun, with a bar and several bartenders, so you can relax and leave the cooking to the Swedes. And if you don’t want to drive, the Hyatt Place hotel offers free shuttle service for guests, and you can book that service directly with the hotel.

Ring in the New Year at the architecturally significant Swedish Club

The Swedish Cultural Center, located at 1920 Dexter Avenue North on the west side of Lake Union, is a striking example of post-war Modernism in Seattle. Designed by the firm of Steinhart Theriault & Anderson, the steel framed building features three stories above a full basement, and was built in 1961 for a cost of around $400,000. If you like Seattle Modern Architecture, you will love this building

The Swedish Club has used a “Three Crowns” Icon for its building logo for decades… in fact the upstairs lounge is called the Three Crowns Lounge. You will find actual beautiful hand-crafted metal crowns on the front doors of the building (they are used as door handles). By coincidence there are also three different floors in the facility, and we have matched them up with three great theme rooms for the event… So welcome one, welcome all to the Inaugural “Three Crowns New Years Eve Ball!”

Tickets are going fast so order now at Brown Paper Tickets.

Don’t want to drive but still want to have fun? Book a room at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Seattle and they’ll shuttle you to and from the party in style, plus enjoy breakfast and a late check-out!

In addition to all these great bands, don’t miss these DJ’s!

Deejay Joey Webb (HouseMen/SF, PASSAGE/Seattle) has been spinning the hot wax from San Francisco to Seattle on a regular basis for several years – He rocks at many top clubs and events and is sure to keep the dance floor packed as he spins between the band sets in this very cool space.

DJ E-Z ACTION has been on the scene Since the late 90?s, spinning at the Backdoor Ultra-lounge, Studio 66, and various clubs and venues throughout the 2000?s. Lounge, 60?s garage, French Ye Ye, soul, funk, 80?s and deep couch music being his main forte.

Agent Double-O S.O.U.L. regularly takes time away from his career as an international field operative for a mysterious intelligence organization to devote himself to entertaining from behind the DJ decks on occasion. This New Year’s Eve is one such occasion.
