New Year’s Eve 2013 arrives soon and many in the Houston area have yet to select a place to celebrate the end of a long but eventful year. If your calendar is still open, there is one event to consider and space is still available. Here is some background information:
Event: Beer Pairing New Year’s Eve Dinner and Party
Location: The League Taproom, 907 Franklin St., Suite 150, Houston, TX
Date and Time: December 31, 2013 starting at 7 p.m.
The League of Extraordinary Brewers is hosting this beer dinner and party on New Year’s Eve and everyone age 21 and over is invited. The celebration begins with a beer dinner at 7 p.m. and will feature a rendition of Queen Victoria’s Banquet Table with craft beer selected to match specific foods/courses. Some of the beers included at the beer dinner cannot be found elsewhere in the city and they help add to the evening of revelry.
At 9 p.m., the doors will open for the main event: The New Year’s Eve party and countdown to 2014. More beer tastings will complement the evening along with craft hors d'oeuvres and a "Champagne Yeast" midnight toast. The party is being promoted as a costume ball, so guests are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion.
