New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas: Hard Rock recap (Photos)

The house was packed at the Hard Rock New Year’s scene last weekend.

The party started on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the newly opened Body English with performances by first Richard Beynon and then M83, a French electronic/shoegaze band from Antibes.

On Sunday, DJ Pauly D spun music at Vanity on his iconic, bedazzled Macbook and Drop the Lime manned the decks at Body English. On the red carpet, Pauly D politely posed for pictures with fans. DJ Switch stopped by the Body English in the wee hours of the morning.

On Sunday and Monday, The Black Keys were at The Joint, playing their popular hits—“Howling For You,” “Next Girl,” “Lonely Boy” and, for their encore, “Everlasting Light”—while two disco balls spun overhead.

Local Las Vegas band Moksha also put on an explosive funk rock show rock.

On Monday, at Body English Kele spun a special Bloc Party and Adam 12 did his She Wants Revenge DJ set.

Monday, Dec. 31, Kele did a special Bloc Party set and Adam 12 spinning She Wants Revenge. Additionally, MNDR and Richard Beynon took the stage.

Local Las Vegas band Red Eye Radio played out 2012 and 2013 in at Vinyl.
