Time to ring in the New Year! If you haven’t already made plans (and there’s so much to choose from) not to worry, the city of San Diego has you covered. Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge

Avoid the lines, the hassle, and overpriced cover this NYE and getaway from it all without actually leaving San Diego! Coronado is your go-to destination to ring in 2014, and Leroy’s Kitchen + Lounge is the spot to soak in the small town appeal that the island has to offer. Craft & Commerce

Join Little Italy’s Craft & Commerce, for their 2nd Annual Black Tie (Or Something Sorta Fancy) Party featuring an elegant four-course prix fixe menu crafted by the knowledgeable hands of Chef Jason McLeod. The first seating begins at 6 pm and is priced at $75 dollars, while the second seating at 9:30 pm will cost $90 and includes a champagne toast at midnight. CUCINA urbana

Celebrate New Year's Eve in Banker's Hill at this bustling California-inspired Italian kitchen and wine shop. There will be two dining options offered for the event featuring a selection of popular, locally sourced specialties. Venga Venga Cantina & Tequila Bar

Venga Venga Chula Vista will celebrate their very first New Year's Eve this year in style, with a party featuring tamales, champagne, live music, complementary party favors and of course, Executive Chef Richard Sandoval's inventive Mexican cuisine. Decked out in their New Year's Eve best, Venga Venga will host a 12 Grapes of Luck ceremony at midnight in addition to a complementary champagne toast. Keeping with this long-known Spanish tradition, 12 bells will ring when the New Year arrives. As the tradition states, eating a grape at the ringing of each bell will result in a prosperous new year. Pacifica Del Mar

Executive Chef Stephanie O’Mary Berwald and Chef/Partner Chris Idso will create two prix fixe dinner menus to allow guests to indulge one last time before the clock strikes midnight. The first celebratory four-course meal is $55 per person, and will start with the first seating at 4:30 p.m. The second prix fixe meal will be $89 with seating starting at 7:30 p.m. Each will include a champagne toast, half off select bottles of wine and FREE VALET. Cusp Dining & Drinks

As bright and airy as La Jolla itself, Cusp Dining & Drinks charms New Year’s Eve diners an unparalleled 280-degree view of the Pacific Ocean, a vibrant cocktail program and a holiday feast by Chef Donald Lockhart. The four-course dinner is $65 per person, which includes a champagne toast and optional Champagne Cocktail Pairings created by bartender Nate Howell and his all-star bar team. There will be three seatings for the night, one at 5 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. Starting at 9 p.m., the Starling Room adjacent to the dining room will be open to guests for live music, craft cocktails, beer and wine. Spike Africa’s Fresh Fish Grill & Bar

Having opened to the public earlier this year, Spike’s has a lot to celebrate as 2013 comes to an end. As part of a year of “firsts,” the restaurant will host their inaugural New Year’s Eve dinner on Dec. 31. The four-course prix fixe menu will consist of seafood-centric dishes like Poached Wild Shrimp Salad, Maine Lobster Risotto and Grilled Scallops with Glazed Pork Belly, as well as meaty options like Duck Confit Pot Pie and Peppercorn Grilled Bone-In New York Strip. A choice of Dark Chocolate Smothered Profiteroles or Strawberry Mascarpone Tart will end the dinner on a sweet note. BiCE Ristorante

Located in the heart of downtown San Diego's bustling Gaslamp Quarter, BiCE San Diego is ringing in the new year with a four-course prix fixe menu catered to the tastes of everyone from those who prefer to hit the sack before the clock strikes twelve to those planning to celebrate until the first sunrise of 2014. During three seating times starting at 4:30 p.m., guests of BiCE will enjoy a family style Italian charcuterie and cheese board from BiCE's award-winning cheese bar, as well as a first course, appetizer, and dessert of their choice. Each course will include dishes representing Chef Mario and Francesca's creative takes on authentic Italian cuisine. The full New Year's Eve menu may be viewed on the BICE website. A Regular menu or special 3-course menu will be offered at $40 per person, and $50 per person with wine. Visit Acqua Al 2 in the Gaslamp where a 3-course menu or a la carte menu of Acqua al 2’s top dishes of 2013 will be available at $60 per person. Party favors and a prosecco toast at midnight will be available, and a guests are able to choose a dish from each course, including, minestrone soup, hand carved filet mignon with balsamic vinegar glaze, and desserts like tiramisu and pannacotta. The Blind Burro

Visit The Blind Burro in East Village where a more relaxed dining experience awaits you. Reservations are available for 7:00pm or 9:30pm, with a 7:00pm seating at $35 per person and 9:30pm seating at $55 per person. A special prix fixe menu with choice of wine will include items like a baja ceviche, quinoa salad, grilled angus skirt steak, pork shank barbacoa, churros, and pepita cake. Quality Social

Downtown’s favorite locale Quality Social is teaming up with one of Ireland’s most widely distributed whiskies, Tullamore Dew, to present: Happy DEW Year! A $40 early-bird ticket offers OPEN BAR from 9pm to 10pm, with a complimentary champagne or pickleback shot toast at midnight! This New Year’s Eve, Polite Provisions and Soda & Swine have teamed up to give New Year’s Eve a Main Street America twist with the Bourbon & Blues Ball! A ticket to this soiree means you’ve scored entrance, two complimentary cocktails and a champagne toast at midnight. With The Fred Heath Trio band providing live music all night long, attendees will enjoy the atmosphere of the old fashion soda bar in the eclectic and vibrant Normal Heights neighborhood. Soda & Swine will not only be open for food service during the event, but they will also be open to the public until 1:30 am. Basic Urban Kitchen + Bar

Jaded on overrated New Year’s Eve celebrations, fancy dress codes and hundred dollar cover charges? Ditch the cliché and KEEP IT BASIC with BASIC Urban Kitchen + Bar’s annual A BASIC NYE. A sparing $15.00 at the door is all it takes for access to BASIC's ultimate urban experience complete with a lineup of DJs, complimentary bubbly for a midnight toast, and BASIC’s signature New Haven brick oven pies, which are available for purchase throughout the evening. Doors open at 8pm, entrance is on a first come, first serve basis. Andaz in San Diego’s famed Gaslamp Quarter will launch into 2014 with a massive New Year’s Eve bash presented by Fortune 421 and featuring four fantastical levels of entertainment. Taking place December 31 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., this evening will be headlined by internationally acclaimed DJs Alex Kenji and Hot Mouth. Guests will count down to midnight as they party throughout the hotel’s newly restyled RoofTop600, Andaz Wine Bar, spacious 5,300 square foot Andaz Studio and adjoining Katsuya by Starck restaurant.

San Diego’s hottest nightclub is ending the year with a New Year’s Big Top Extravaganza! The final act of FLUXX's three-part Big Top theme, Act III: The Finale, will be one for the books. DJ Karma will be spinning all night along with Rico DeLargo live on the trumpet. There will be a champagne toast for everyone when the ball drops at midnight. The Commons Bar

Located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, The Commons, will be celebrating New Year's Eve with 'The Commons House Party,' featuring a DJ all night, party favors, Jell-O shots, jungle juice, and champagne toast at midnight with NO COVER at the door. For New Year's Day, celebrate with The Commons' morning after brunch, where guests have the choice to go naughty with the Southern Bowl featuring cheddar buttermilk biscuits, fried chicken strips and scrambled eggs all smothered in sausage gravy or go nice with granola and yogurt. Café Japengo Staycation

On December 31, Cafe Japengo will offer New Year’s Eve dinner specials and two luxurious staycation packages with the neighboring Hyatt Regency La Jolla.

The “Dance and Stay” package ($189) and “Japengo Dine and Stay” package ($299) will include a hotel stay at Hyatt Regency La Jolla—complete with an in-room bottle of celebratory champagne—on December 31. Purchase of either package will also grant guests admission to the New Year Eve’s countdown party at Michael’s Lounge, featuring a DJ, dancing, party favors, dessert buffet and balloon drop at midnight. Surrounding Hotel Solamar’s Shore Pool atop Solamar Terrace, LOUNGEsix is the premier, heated rooftop lounge in the Gaslamp Quarter.
