New Year's Day will be extremely busy at Walt Disney World in Florida. Plan to arrive early to the parks because if they reach capacity they will close until more spots open.
The Magic Kingdom will open at 8:00am and remain open until 1:00am on January 1, 2013. Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade will run at 3:00pm. Main Street Electrical Parade will be held twice, at 8:00pm and at 10:00pm. Wishes, the nightly fireworks show, will be held at 9:00pm.
Things at Epcot will have returned to normal, since the Holidays Around the World has ended. The park will be open 9:00am-9:00pm, with World Showcase opening at 11:00am. IllumiNations will be held at 9:00pm.
Disney's Hollywood Studios will be open 9:00am-10:00pm on New Year's Day. The Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun! parade will be held at 3:00pm. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights continues at the park and will start at approximately 6:00pm. Fantasmic! will run at 6:30pm, 8:00pm and at 10:00pm.
There will be an Extra Magic Hour for Disney resort guests at Disney's Animal Kingdom at 7:00am. The park will be open to the general public 8:00am-8:00pm. Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade will run at 3:45pm.
Disney's Blizzard Beach water park will be open 10:00am-5:00pm. Disney's Typhoon Lagoon continues to be closed for its annual refurbishment.
