Looking for something different to do this New Year's Eve? How about hooking up with the world clock and ringing in the New Year all day long (and well in to the night!)?
By finding out what time it is in different parts of the world you can not only be checking out some great geography but also investigate how different people, different cultures, celebrate and ring in the New Year! With each time zone and country/continent, you can learn how they say "Happy New Year"; maybe make some snacks to represent each culture. There are some great websites out there to help you with this.
Find out which portion of the world gets to be the first to ring in 2010. This can be a great activity for the entire family. Go and spend the day celebrating the world, world geography and the cultures that make us who we are.
Happy New Year!

That's really cool! I would love to actually be there for another country's New Year's celebration.
Thanks for the info! You always find good stuff to share! :o)
