Starting tonight, Danni Rosner will be performing at the Witzend in Venice, CA at 9 p.m. every Thursday this month.
Rosner's triumphant return has fans, the venue itself, and the plethora of performers for the show in Los Angeles all energized. Rosner is coming from a very exciting 2012 with momentum into 2013. When this reporter asks Danni about her residency, and other projects, Rosner responds with magnetic energy, saying:
"As for Witzend- I've got a crazy line up of musicians playing in my band for the Thursday night residency! One of my good friends out here, Drew Taubenfeld, is also the guitar/pedal steel player in a little band called Selena Gomez and The Scene. He is also the studio musician for numerous high profile projects. John Spiker on bass is an incredible producer, singer, and player from Jack Black's band Tenacious D. Will Herrington on keys is from Nickelodeon's Drake Bell band. Adam Tressler is on guitar and an incredible songwriter (you've heard many of his songs on CW shows). Kris Karlsson is on guitar and harmonies, as is Kiel Feher, who plays for many bands including Warner Brother's Records Blondfire. All are good friends, good people, and incredible musicians! Listen up singer-songwriters, do yourself a favor and hire these fine musicians!"
Rosner also is in full studio greatness right now. She explains enthusiastically, "Other than that, I'm in the studio right now with producer Warren Huart (The Fray, James Blunt, Aerosmith) working on a brand new song written by songwriter and celeb entertainment reporter Marco Gonzales (we met after I opened for LeAnn Rimes). I can't wait to play it live with the band for the residency!"
