New Year, new you?

Have you made your 2013 resolutions yet? I’m willing to bet a ton of people are setting health and fitness goals for the New Year, and I don’t blame them. If your head is in the right place, your body is a reflection of that.

Here are some fitness tips to help kick-start your health and fitness goals in the New Year. Check them out below and get you moving!

1. First, you have make time for exercise in the New Year.

2. If you haven’t already, join a gym!

3. Think about a personal trainer.

4. Structure your workouts, if a personal trainer is right for you.

5. Before you hit the gym, you need the right fuel. Pre-workout snacks are all about balance.

6. Eat Cleaner, think less take out and processed food.

7. Up your water intake to at least 8 ounces a day.

8. Staying active everyday is easy… no more excuses !

9. Try a new routine or fitness class in 2013. Last year I tried the belly dancing workout and it was intense.

10. If you can’t hit the gym, you better stay active at home!
