New Year New Oppurtunities

As with all new years it comes with many hopes and opportunities to improve and grow. One such opportunity in a family is to continually reestablish the bond. In most cases this means something different but there are a few things we can all do that are universal and transcend any differences we all have. Below is a list my family and I will be working toward:

1. Establishing a family mission statement
2. Reaffirming religious beliefs and what that means to everyone in the family
3. Creating new experiences at least once a month
4. Being better listeners of each other
5. Volunteering more

Of course this is just a few things we planned; most of it is set to be completed in the first three months of the year. Consulting with one another and being the encouragers we are called to be starts within our families. My hope is that my children will take our examples and continue to be better citizens of this world and more importantly of the spiritual world. Simply put the new year rolls around every year so far and each time it is filled with hope and opportunities the great part about it is that we can control what we do within the time that is given. I don’t know about you I plan to use it wisely.
