New Year, New Baby

With the mark of a New Year, some couples are considering a new addition to the family in 2014. Mothers-to-be are becoming more educated and savvy regarding what’s best for their babies. One area they are looking into is fish oil supplements.

“Many mothers-to-be are interested in natural marine pregnancy supplements, because they prefer them over synthetic vitamins produced in a laboratory,” said the spokesperson for Nutrilys Del Mar, a marine supplement company located in San Diego. “While premium fish oil and marine sources are natural, it’s still important to inquire with your health care provider to double check that your dietary supplement and food intake meets the right nutritional levels for you and your baby.”

Quality marine supplement companies generally offer a prenatal and pregnancy pack. This pack includes a variety of natural supplements which will address a variety of nutritional needs. This list includes:

Premium Oyster Powder: offers excellent levels of zinc, magnesium, copper, minerals and amino acids

Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon Oil: a rich blend of omegas 3,5,6,7, and 9, vitamins A and D3, and Astaxanthin, a superior antioxidant.

Alkylglycerols: This potent fish oil detoxifies while boosting immunity and energy.

“Pregnancy and prenatal supplements are never a substitute for a healthy diet, but they do offer a wonderful wellness boost for you and your baby,” the spokesperson said.
