New year brings many new changes

See also

With the New Year, there will also be a great deal of changes in our country.

Of course, the most discussed changes will be occurring in our nation's healthcare system. Since its introduction in October, "Obamacare" has been one of the most controversial laws put into effect to date. From the many problems with the healthcare website, to the many objections and questions, the law has become one of the most common topics the last few months.

At the state level, there will also be a great many new changes in law this year as well, from marijuana laws to further laws in gun control in several states. For example, in the new year, the state of California will begin retaining information about gun purchases, including shotguns and rifles.

What do you think is the most important law passed this year? What would you like to see change in this country in the new year?
