Some of the characters that film audiences are about to be introduced to include Quicksilver and Sunspot, with clear indications that they might be important to the central story of the latest Bryan Singer film. It's also interesting to note that Singer will appear on a cover all his own, possibly giving fans a chance to collect that issue as well. Some of the better known actors and actresses appearing on covers include Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, and Ellen Page.

There is still a lot of time before the film debuts in theaters, but this latest move was simply to create a lot of buzz and discussion about what is being billed as the biggest superhero movie ever made. These new "X-Men" images will certainly lead to some divisive reactions from fans that have read the comic books for years. Especially when it comes to characters like Bishop that haven't appeared in anything other than the original cartoon since being penned by Marvel.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" will hit theaters on Friday, May 23 with a lot of midnight showings expected to hit theaters across the country.
