Two new stills has been released for X-Men: Days of Future Past featuring both past and present characters.

One of the first stills to be released via internet gives audiences a first look at Evan Peters as Quicksilver. The American Horror Story actor is seen with a young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender), as well as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), who seems to have made his way back to the past.

Entertainment Weekly also released an exclusive still featuring Beast (Nicholas Hoult) and Wolverine in action.

The new released photos come a day after it was revealed by Evan Jonigkeit during an interview with MTV that he has been cast as a younger Toad in the X-Men: First Class sequel.

The film also stars previous X-Men alumni Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, and Daniel Cudmore, as well as new cast members that include Omar Sy as Bishop, and Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask.

X-Men: Days of Future Past follows members of the X-Men team joining forces with their younger selves to fight a war for the survival of the species across two time periods.

Directed by Bryan Singer, X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23, 2014.
